2. Overview
Bondry is a relationship manager for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Data minimalism matters to us: your content generally stays on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your bonds, contacts or reminders.
3. What data is processed where
- App content (bonds, contacts, reminders, notes, places): stored locally on your device.
- iCloud sync (optional): If you enable iCloud, this content syncs between your devices through your private Apple iCloud account. Apple is responsible for the iCloud infrastructure; we have no access to this data.
- Contacts import (optional): If you grant access, Bondry reads your device contacts locally only, to create contacts. No upload takes place.
- Calendar (optional): With permission granted, Bondry reads calendar events locally to link them to bonds.
- Location/places (optional): For places on bonds, Bondry uses Apple’s map service; the place search is transmitted to Apple.
- Notifications: Reminders and stay-in-touch nudges are scheduled as notifications directly on your device.
- Usage analytics: Bondry only records anonymous, technical usage events (e.g. “onboarding completed”) locally on the device, without personal content. Nothing is sent to us without your explicit consent.
4. Purchases (Bondry Plus)
Subscriptions are handled through Apple (App Store / StoreKit). Payment and billing data are processed by Apple; we receive no payment data, only the status of your entitlement.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell data. Processing by third parties only occurs where technically necessary (Apple as platform/iCloud provider; Vercel as the hosting provider of this website).
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we do not store your content on our own servers, you can delete it yourself in the app at any time (“Delete all data”) or remove the app.
